UnionsNT is authorised by the Northern Territory WorkSafe Regulator to deliver Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training courses. The HSR Training Course is designed to provide HSRs with the knowledge and skills required to navigate their way around NT Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation. Once trained you will have Legal protections under the WHS Act. This allows HSRs to exercise their powers without fear of reprisal.
An HSR/Deputy HSR, as per the WHS Act section 72, have the right to choose a HSR Course Provider of their choice through consultation with their boss.
UnionsNT provides the 5 Day initial training course and the 1 Day annual refresher.
UnionsNT primarily runs the course at 1st Floor 38 Woods Street, Darwin NT 0800 we can deliver the training at your workplace if the appropriate resources are available.
We can deliver the course outside of the Darwin area however, additional costs will be incurred.
