Unions NT have launched a new Community Assist Hotline service for workers across the Territory. The Hotline will be open every Monday-Friday from 9am to 4pm and will be attended by our staff.
This will provide all Territory workers, regardless of union membership, an opportunity to talk to somebody about the effects of COVID-19 on their work, mental health and financial situation.
We aim to provide callers with helpful information regarding workers’ rights, government assistance and avenues for seeking further help. We are also happy to discuss all issues pertaining to industrial matters and work health and safety.
Additionally, we have physical resources for distribution to those doing it toughest.
We encourage all workers affected by COVID-19 to call the Hotline during its hours of operation on (08) 8941 0001. When you get through, ask to speak to Anastasia or Lithira who will be available to assist you.
